The Palace Academy Twin opened in 1974 screening Roman Polanski’s Macbeth in Cinema 500, and Fritz the Cat in Cinema 300. Many years later, this original programming still says a lot about this much loved venue – still Sydney’s premier destination for foreign language and quality cinema, and the home of the Annual French, Italian, Spanish and Mardi Gras film festivals.
