The Sydney Tower restaurant is 300 metres above sea level, at the top of the famous Sydney Tower building (aka Centrepoint), and slowly revolves a full 360 degrees every 70 minutes. Although the food is ‘good enough’, it doesn’t really matter - the spectacular views of Sydney and the harbour are what you’ll be paying attention to. If you just want to check out the views, go for a casual lunch at the buffet, which is on a separate level to the A La Carte restaurant. Read more »

Now this is the way to see Sydney Harbour! The Sydney Harbour dinner cruise departs daily from downtown Sydney (Circular Quay or King Street Wharf), and features an indulgent 3 course a la carte dinner from an extensive menu, prepared by international chefs, with a comprehensive selection of fine Australian wines. The Sydney Harbour dinner cruise is a great way to see some of Sydney Harbour’s famous landmarks, and with wonderful food, and a fine bottle of Australia wine - Sydney Harbour doesn’t get much better than this.

It might seem a little extravagant, but taking a twilight helicopter flight over Sydney is something that every visitor to Sydney should try and do at least once in their life. Not only is it spectacular, it’s probably one of the best value for money tours you can take while in Sydney.
The twilight flight begins over Coogee and Bondi beaches just as the sun goes down, and continues north along the coastline to Manly Beach and the North and South Headlands, then through the heads, and finally over Sydney Harbour. Seeing the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge come into view as your fly through the heads is absolutely magical and is something many tourist include amongst the highlights of their visit to Sydney.

If climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge with BridgeClimb isn’t enough for you, you can now enjoy the 360 degree open air view from the roof of Sydney Tower, 260 metres above Sydney. Harnessed onto a moving, glass-floored viewing platform that extends out over the edge of the golden turret of Sydney Tower, you can view Sydney beneath your feet from a whole new perspective.

Located on a quiet corner in an inner city suburb of Sydney, Bills (as in celebrity chef Bill Granger) is a popular breakfast destination for Sydney’s ‘beautiful people’. Bills features a large communal table, which on busier days may be the only place left to sit - so if you’re after a ‘normal’ table to yourself, get there early. If you plan on visiting Bills because you’ve read his books, or seen the television shows, then you’ll probably enjoy the experience - but as popular as Bills is, the service is often slow, and the prices are too high for what is sometimes very ordinary food.

Glebe’s Digi Kaf is without a doubt one of the nicest cafes in Sydney for travellers (and locals) to get internet access - they have high speed WiFi with full internet service. The internet service is top notch, but far more importantly, the food and coffee are absolutely fantastic.
